Hi… I am Jane

My home is in a charming village up in North Norfolk named North Elmham, where I reside with my faithful Norfolk Terrier Doug, the dog. I moved here with the purpose of transforming a rundown property into my forever sanctuary.

I'm all about embracing challenges and diving into creative endeavours. Whether it's engaging with people, spending time with family and friends, working on hair and makeup, exploring fashion trends, decorating, upcycling, cooking, indulging in delicious food and wine, or tending to my garden, I'm game for it all. But above all, my heart belongs to photography.

… but you can call me Janie (that's what my Dad used to call me).

After finishing school, I trained as a hairdresser at John Olivers in Norwich, and let me tell you, it was an incredible experience. Thanks to that, I've honed my people skills – knowing how to listen, connect with my clients, understand them, and bring their image desires to life.

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever. It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

- Aaron Siskind

How it started…

My journey with photography began by pure chance over 12 years ago. I lent a hand to my then-husband shooting weddings, and when he was editing the photos, he couldn't recall taking some shots. They were taken by me! I spotted a picturesque setting and captured a beautiful image. That image ended up gracing the front cover of the couple's wedding album, igniting my passion for photography. I delved into courses and soon found myself hooked, refining my style through styled shoots, editorial work, and numerous bridal magazine covers.

I also had the privilege of studying under the talented Yerberrys for boudoir and fine art nude photography – an incredibly inspiring duo. My goal is to instil confidence and a sense of utmost comfort in women within their own selves. Few things hold the power to empower as profoundly as a collection of exquisite boudoir photographs.

I'm always thrilled to meet new people, learn about their stories, and capture those precious moments that last forever.
